Finding contacts and inviting friends

You can find people on AviNat by phone number or username, let AviNat check your phone contacts, and invite friends who aren't on AviNat yet. AviNat never sends an invitation by itself.

Try this

Add a contact

1. Open the contacts screen (start a new chat) and tap New contact.
2. Type a name, then find them by Phone number (choose the country) or by Username. A username must be typed exactly.
3. Turn on Also save to iPhone contacts if you want, then tap Save.

See which phone contacts use AviNat

1. Tap Find phone contacts and allow access.
2. AviNat reads only the contacts you choose. Names stay on your phone, and the numbers are checked securely and not saved.
3. If you said no before, open the iPhone Settings app, tap AviNat, then Contacts, and allow access.

Invite a friend

1. If a search finds no account, tap Invite to AviNat. It opens a message with an AviNat link that you send yourself.
2. Or go to You > Invite a friend and pick an app to share the link.

Still not working?

Go to You > Help > Contact us and tell us what you searched for (don't send other people's numbers). A person from our team will follow up. You can also write to [email protected].

Good to know

• If someone can't find you by your number, check You > Privacy > Who can find me by my number and Let contacts find me.
• To block someone, open their chat or contact info and tap Block. They can't call or message you and aren't told.
• To unblock, go to You > Privacy > Blocked, tap the person, then Unblock.
