Making voice, video and group calls

AviNat voice and video calls are free and end-to-end encrypted. You can call one person or a group.

Try this

Call someone

1. Open your chat with them and tap the call or video button, or open their contact info and tap Call or Video.
2. Or open the Calls tab, tap New call, and choose a contact and the call type.

Group calls

1. In a group chat, start a Group voice call or Group video call.
2. During a call, tap Add to call to bring in more people.

Translated calls In the contact info, tap Translated call, then choose Voice or Video. See the article on translated calls for tips.

Still not working?

If calls don't ring, see the article on calls not ringing. If people can't hear or see you, see the microphone and camera article. Otherwise go to You > Help > Contact us. A person from our team will follow up.

Good to know

• Calling a phone number that isn't on AviNat isn't available.
• Only one call can run at a time.
• Your missed calls are in the Calls tab under Missed calls.
